"Checkout kept messing up my order"
I was trying to check out a phone sale on Buyback Boss, it was just frustrating. I put in my info, the page froze, then it kicked me back to the start. I tried again, same kind of thing, freezing and starting over. It kept messing up right when I thought I was almost done.

When I finally got it to go through, the total looked different than what I had seen before. No big error message popped up or anything, but the checkout just felt unreliable. It was annoying, then annoying again, and after dealing with the same checkout problems over and over, I gave up

"Returning it was a real hassle"
I tried to return my phone it was way, way more frustrating than it needed to be. The instructions weren’t clear at all, so I kept having to go back through emails again and again just to figure out the next step. It felt like the whole process was set up to slow you down. Not a great experience for me.

My first impression of Buyback Boss wasn’t great. The way the terms were shown felt kind of messy, and some of the important details seemed way too easy to miss. I didn’t really notice certain things until I was already further into the process, which was frustrating.

I kept wondering what could actually change the final offer, especially if they decided the condition of the item wasn’t what I described. That part didn’t feel very clear up front, and it made me feel like I had to be on guard instead of just following a simple process.
Maybe all the information is technically written somewhere, but it didn’t feel transparent to me as a regular customer. After that bad first impression, I don’t think I’d use them again.

"Website was kind of a pain"
I got frustrated using the site, honestly. It kept freezing on me, and then some pages would load all weird, like half the stuff was there and half wasn’t. I was just trying to find basic info, nothing complicated, but it somehow took forever. Also, the navigation didn’t really help much. I kept clicking around and then waiting again, so yeah, not a great experience...

I sent in my phone thinking the condition would match the grade I selected, but... they ended up marking it lower and reducing the offer. it felt a little unfair. I just wish the grading details were clearer before you actually send the phone in

I sent my phone in thinking it would be a simple, quick process, but it ended up dragging on way longer than I expected. The updates were slow too, so I kept checking my email wondering if something had gone wrong.

the whole thing gave me that “why is this so complicated?” reaction. Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but for me the turnaround time was frustrating and made the whole process way more annoying than it needed to be...

I sent my phone in after getting what seemed like a decent quote, but the final offer came back much lower. They said it was because of condition issues, but I was honest when I filled everything out, so that was frustrating. When I questioned it, I kind of felt brushed off instead of actually heard. I had such mixed feelings dealing with the packaging rules. On one hand, I get that they probably have reasons for being specific, but the instructions felt confusing and overly picky. I thought shipping it out would be a quick errand, but it ended up taking way longer than expected. The dropoff options weren’t convenient at all, and I felt like I had to go out of my way just to get it done. Definitely more annoying than it needed to be.

"Bad timing made the offer feel even worse"
I checked out buybackboss.com because I was hoping to get rid of my phone quickly and not deal with a bunch of back and forth. To be fair, the process seemed simple enough, but I think my timing was just bad because the offer I got really wasn’t what I expected.

The amount felt low compared to what I was seeing other places, and maybe if I had done it earlier or waited for a better time, it would’ve looked better. If you just want your phone gone fast, I can see why someone might use them, but for me it didn’t feel worth the price they offered.

Overall, I left kind of disappointed. I’m not saying it’s the worst option out there, but I’d definitely shop around first, especially because timing seems like it can make a big difference
